With years of diverse experience, I navigate a wide array of psychological concerns.

Whether your issue is acute or prolonged, I provide an empathic, and collaborative approach to addressing your needs and goals. I utilise a range of evidence-based tools and therapies to address needs as appropriate, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I have also recently completed Part 1 training for Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR, a front-line trauma treatment, and am excited to be utilising these skills for clients experiencing either single event trauma or more complex trauma related to developmental experiences.

Being acutely aware that every client is unique, having been influenced by their own history and experiences, I take great care to tailor approaches to each client’s personality and thinking styles.

I provide intervention to individuals experiencing difficulties related to the following:

  • Low self-esteem / confidence

  • Problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Mindfulness techniques to assist with enhancing fulfillment.

  • Anxiety, including disorders related to social phobia, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder or phobias.

  • Mood disorders, including depression.

  • Stress

  • Emotional dysregulation and distress tolerance issues

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma and related presentations

  • Personality disorders

What to expect at your first appointment

I offer face-to-face appointments, at a convenient location in central Ballarat. Some telehealth services are also offered provided it is appropriate given the presenting issues. Psychology appointments are 50 mins in length.

At your initial session, you'll experience a warm and welcoming environment where active listening and compassion is my first priority. I take time to really hear your story and together, we'll navigate your concerns, ensuring you feel heard and understood. Often, by the end of the first session, through collaborative dialogue, we'll co-create personalized goals, empowering you to take charge of your mental health journey with confidence and purpose. My learning about you and your story continues with every session and we can adjust plans as we go, if necessary, to ensure we are addressing your priorities and you are feeling supported.
