Fees

I am proud to be a part of the Better Access Initiative, offering compassionate and professional mental health services.

Better Access allows eligible individuals to access a range of psychological services through Medicare. To be eligible for the Medicare rebate, you need a referral from your GP or a referring practitioner. This ensures that your mental health care plan aligns with your individual needs. Rebates are provided under Medicare on session fees for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. Please note your GP will require an extended appointment to complete the referral for psychology sessions. Once you have your referral, please CONTACT US to book your appointment.

General Fees and Rebates

The fee for psychology sessions is $210, for a 50-minute session and I strive to make the financial aspect of your mental health care as straightforward as possible. If you are eligible for a Medicare rebate, you are still required to make the payment in full, but we will process your medicare claim immediately following payment, meaning $96.65 will be deposited back to your account. The out-of-pocket expense is therefore $113.35. The fee is payable on the day of your appointment.

Some private health funds provide rebates on psychological services, depending on your cover. Please check with your fund if you think this option might be available to you. You are not able to claim both a Medicare rebate and private health on a single psychology session.

Private Funds

If you choose to privately fund your appointments, no referral is necessary, you can simply CONTACT US and book an appointment. No Medicare rebates will be available in this instance.

Please note bulk billing services are not offered.

If you have any other queries about services or fees, please get in touch for further advice, otherwise please CONTACT US to schedule your confidential appointment.
